The Doug men's jacket is an ideal garment for mid-season. Directly inspired by the classic American aviator jacket, the Doug pairs with chinos or raw denim and will become your ideal ally when temperatures drop. This model is made from an exceptionally soft double-faced wool blend. Soft and enveloping, it remains highly wearable thanks to its fluid drape and wins you over with its comfort and versatility.

Fabric
80% Wool - 20% Polyamide
This piece is made from a double-sided wool blend fabric, offering a soft and slightly fluffy feel. Thanks to the absence of lining, it combines simplicity and sophistication, while highlighting precise finishes. Rather heavy with a weight of 520g/m², this fabric guarantees superior quality and an impeccable fall. Long reserved for jackets and coats for Men and Women, this season we have declined it in skirts and dresses for winter.
Manufacturing
Our manufacturing process embodies Hartford’s commitment to high-quality, sustainable production. We prioritize local sourcing, with 80% of our products manufactured in the Mediterranean region (Morocco, Portugal, Italy), while the remainder is produced worldwide based on the origin of materials and local expertise—such as in India for certain prints or embroidery, or in China for certain specialty wools, for example. We rely on long-term partnerships, synonymous with reliability and expertise: 50% of our products are manufactured by partners we’ve worked with for over 20 years, and 80% by partners we’ve worked with for over 10 years. Finally, we prioritize contract manufacturing (60% of production) by sourcing materials ourselves in Europe, thereby ensuring full traceability and access to the finest European natural materials.
